National Park Takabonerate

Takabonerate formed from three words: taka means coral, bone means the sand, and the mean rate above. So, Takabonerate means reef in the sand.

Takabonerate the name of a district in Selayar regency, South Sulawesi. Consisting of small islands with sandy beaches are very clean and white.

What is interesting from the beaches, atolls stretching in the sea (coral islands) along the 220,000 hectares. Being the third longest in the world after Kwajifein in the Marshal Islands and Suvadiva in Moldiva. In addition, the sea is also inhabited marine animals large and rare.
