Bratan Lake is a lake located in
Bedugul area, Village Candikuning, Baturiti Tabanan regency, Bali. The
easternmost lake in between two other lakes namely Lake Buyan
and Lake Tamblingan, which is a cluster of twin
lakes inside a
huge caldera, Lake
Bratan is quite special.
Being in lane provincial road that connects the Denpasar-Singaraja and close proximity Eka Karya Botanical Garden makes this place to be one of the mainstay tourist island of Bali. Besides easy reach of Lake Bratan also provides a variety of charm and adequate accommodation.

In the middle of the lake there is a temple of Pura Ulun Danu, which is a shrine to the Sang Hyang Dewi Danu as a giver of fertility.
