Lake Toba is located in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Lake Toba is a volcanic lake
with a length of 100 kilometers and 30 kilometers wide, and the depth of about
505 meters. This lake is the largest lake in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Toba lake itself is a volcanic lake that occurs when there is a volcanic eruption
at 69000-77000 years ago, is also expected to be one the largest volcanic
explosions in the world.
After the blast, creating kaledra (hollows in the ground after the volcanic
eruption) which is then filled with water and we know now as Lake Toba. Amid the
Lake Toba there is also a small island which is also called the island samosir.

When you visit Lake Toba, you might be surprised and think that the lake is
more like an ocean than a lake. In this area, surrounded hills, so the
